Reunion Adult Class Material
At the Mission Centre Reunion we would
normally purchase the adult class material
from Herald House. This year we are able to download the material from the
church’s
website, so we have decided to print our own copies. However, if anyone would
like to purchase
the printed book then please contact Janice Fox who has a limited number of
copies available. |
Young Adults + Work + Reunion + Spiritual Experience =
Becoming Community
This year we are running a young adult work activity during Reunion; this is
an exciting new venture in finding ways to connect with young adults to provide
and receive ministry from this group of people within our community.
A limited number of places (approx. 16) are available for young adults to
attend Reunion and work on a project throughout the week. There will be a
training session on Sunday 3rd looking at health & safety, volunteer working,
the project and team building. There will be a mid week evaluation and a
feedback session on
the Friday evening. One work session (up to 4.5 hours) will take place each day
with the opportunity to attend reunion activities for the remainder of the time
at Dunfield.
In line with the current policy on working at
Dunfield, young adults can apply for a place paying a subsidised rate. (approx.
£40.00 for the week if sleeping in a tent, a little more in the house). In the
event of over subscription young adults who have already attended a work weekend
will have priority. Attendance on the Sunday is necessary in order to gain from
the whole experience.
Young adults can, of course choose to book into reunion [without the work
element] in the usual way at the Community of Christ office.

Autumn Retreat is a time to be together in
community to praise and thank God for his
presence in our lives. To lift up in gratitude all the goodness and joy that is
ours and lay our lives before Him. A time to be with our Lord who knows us
better than our closest friend, better than we know ourselves.
You are invited by Paul & Sue to come, just as you are to share in worship,
prayer and fellowship. |
