Plan For Mission
The British Isles Mission Centre’s ‘Plan for Mission’ was developed in
response to the challenge to have a new sense of mission rooted in the call to
share the peace of Jesus Christ with the world.

Counsel to the Church
On Sunday January 17th Prophet-President Steve Veazey
brought words of counsel to the church, a link to which is
below along with a related question and answer document.
Steve Veazey also presented a letter of counsel about the
presiding quorums (link below) in which it was announced
that at World Conference Apostle Len Young is to be relieved
of his responsibility as an apostle and that Richard James
is called to serve as an apostle. For the foreseeable future
Richard and his family will continue to live in Cardiff.
Richard will travel from Cardiff to his Field assignment,
which will not be confirmed until either March or at
Conference.
We wish both Len and Richard our best wishes as they
prepare to move into new areas of ministry and
responsibility.

Priesthood Calls
Ken Turner and Andrew Fox have accepted calls to the
offices of High Priest and Bishop respectively. Both of
these calls will be considered at Mission Centre Conference
and, if accepted, the ordinations will take place in the
evening
service. |

The Mission Centre Office move has finally been completed. The new Mission
Centre Office address is Community of Christ, Thanet Street, Clay Cross,
Chesterfield, S45 9JS. The new telephone number is 01246 768831.
