Welcome from Carol Proctor, Pastor of Denton Congregation
Our small but vibrant congregation strives to make a difference in our community. We are Jesus loving people and try hard to be peace and kingdom builders. We are passionate about the worth of all people, especially young people and families, but you will find a warm welcome to all ages, gender and ethnicity.
You can find us at
Windmill Lane, Denton, M34 2FR (On the Reddish border, opposite 789 Windmill Lane, Denton). We meet at 11.00am each Sunday

What do I do when I arrive?
The doors are always open when we are meeting, just step inside! There is a car park and the main doors are just before the lovely stained glass window.
What should I wear?
Anything is acceptable, we are not formal. It is not what you wear but your presence that is important.
Are there activities for my children/family at your church?
Monday is our youth group night with various groups for 4 - 15-year-olds. please email for details.
The second Sunday of the month is always Messy Church at 11.00am with lots of family activities and lunch.
During the school holidays, we often hold activity days around being peacemakers.
What are your worships like?
Our worships do not follow a set pattern. Each is led by different people and so are varied, some include share & brew mornings. We do not have separate children's classes as we feel all ages can worship and learn together.
Each Sunday we meet at 11.00am. The first Sunday of the month is an open Communion worship, the second Sunday, Messy Church and the fourth Sunday we often meet for the relational chat and brew. Come and find out!
What other activities can I join in at your church?
We have a ladies group during the day which is informal and friendly. We also have regular study groups as well as evenings of fun and of course food. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for current events.
We encounter God through the sacraments of the church which touch lives at important times and places. We can offer in our congregation the sacraments of marriage for all people, ordination, the blessing of children, laying on of hands for the sick, evangelist blessing, baptism, confirmation, the Lords Supper (open communion) and funeral services with our ministers available to work with you to ensure this significant ministry is personal to you and your family To engage with our wider church community please check out our events page on this website for dates for cluster worships and planned activities. These include youth camps, family camps, congregation and work weekends etc, along with the opportunity to study, learn and take part in the decision making of our church in the British Isles.
